No lesson plans or sit-down “school time” means I answer the children’s questions as they come up or more accurately I share as much as I know and then we research the rest together. Fortunately, the existence of the internet and our local library means the answers are never far away. Below are some resources we’ve found for various topics.

• Various Little Einstein’s videos (I’m not too keen on these myself but the kids love them.)

Reading

• Read-aloud story time almost every day (This is me reading a story/chapter to the children.)
• Frequent library visits
• ClicknRead Phonics (online program - small fee)
• Step Into Reading Books
• A healthy dose of “It will happen when it happens. Don’t push it.”
