Is it normal to use a blow torch when lighting birthday candles? No? I was afraid of that.

It isn’t normal????
I love how the flame is all blowy like it’s being subjected to gale-force winds. Must be a powerful little torch.
Rest assured: it’s perfectly normal if your cake is made of creme brulee. So there’s that.
But what else is a blow torch for?
I don’t know that I’ve ever heard anyone describe your sweetie as “normal” anyway, so what’s the dif?
