Necessity Is the Mother of Invention

March 14th, 2008 by Toni

If, because you discovered he’d written on the piano keys (all 88 of them) and then found him scrawling his name on a wall, you took away your son’s pencil and later banned crayons for the day, don’t be surprised when you find caveman like drawings on your chair and table and sofa; carefully rendered by a dirt covered rock.

Ha ha! That’s one boy that’s determined to write!

Oh my. I’d love to see some pics of that. My hubby once did a series of drawings using a dirt covered rock.

Whoa. That’s hilarious. That’s one determined, persistent boy. I love it!

My boy recently made some nine-month-old marks of his own: he’s started rubbing his crackers, already soaked in his saliva, all over the leg of the table leaving sticky cracker marks.

I’m seeing my future and at least it’s cracking me up. : )
