Just prior to our last move (Summer 2007) I thoroughly cleaned out the kitchen cabinets.  I was running short on boxes and didn’t want to move anything I didn’t have to.  Much of what I found ended up in our bellies but this, after some puzzlement, went to the trash … finally. 

If we consider that this toxic stuff usually has an expiration date 4 or 5 years out from the purchase date then we can safely assume that I acquired this box sometime on or before the summer of 2001.  That would be before my first child was born.  That would be four moves ago.  Which means that not only did I pay good money for this container of preservatives I faithfully packed them up and moved them FOUR times.

Inconceivable!
