There is an appraiser coming today.  My parents are refinancing their (our) house and part of that process involves having someone come out to tell them what the homeplace is worth.  Doesn’t that seem a strange thought?  As if anyone could place a value on ’home’.  Anyway, we are busy straightening up and polishing so as to make the best impression.  With two smallish ones about, I am reminded of a quote by Phyllis Diller.
